1. Overview

This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds and cancellations on the Listeve platform. Please read this policy carefully before making a booking.

2. Platform Fees

Important: Platform fees are non-refundable.

  • Standard Events: 5% platform fee (non-refundable)
  • House Party Events: 15% platform fee (non-refundable)

The platform fee covers transaction processing, ticket generation, QR code creation, platform maintenance, and customer support services.

3. User-Initiated Cancellations

3.1 General Refund Policy

Refunds for event tickets are subject to the refund policy set by individual event organizers. Each event may have different cancellation terms, which will be displayed on the event page.

3.2 Refund Components

  • Ticket Price: Refundable according to organizer's policy
  • Platform Fee: Non-refundable in all cases
  • Payment Gateway Charges: Non-refundable

3.3 Cancellation Timeline

Common refund timelines (varies by organizer):

  • More than 7 days before event: Full ticket price refund (minus platform fee)
  • 3-7 days before event: 50% ticket price refund (minus platform fee)
  • Less than 3 days before event: No refund
  • After event: No refund

3.4 How to Request a Cancellation

  1. Log in to your Listeve account
  2. Go to "My Bookings"
  3. Select the booking you wish to cancel
  4. Click "Cancel Booking" and follow the prompts
  5. You will receive a confirmation email

4. Event Organizer Cancellations

4.1 Event Cancellation by Organizer

If an event is cancelled by the organizer:

  • Full refund of ticket price to all attendees
  • Platform fee is refunded to attendees
  • Refunds processed within 5-7 business days
  • Notification sent to all ticket holders

4.2 Event Rescheduling

If an event is rescheduled by the organizer:

  • Tickets remain valid for the new date
  • Attendees who cannot attend the new date may request a refund
  • Refund requests must be made within 7 days of reschedule notification
  • Platform fee is non-refundable for rescheduled events

4.3 Venue Changes

If the event venue changes, attendees will be notified. Tickets remain valid unless the organizer offers refunds. Platform does not guarantee refunds for venue changes.

5. House Party Event Refunds

Special Terms for House Party Events:

  • 15% platform fee is non-refundable
  • Stricter cancellation policies may apply due to limited capacity
  • Refunds are at the sole discretion of the host
  • Last-minute cancellations (within 48 hours) typically not refundable
  • No-shows are not eligible for refunds

House Party events often involve personal preparation by hosts, so please book only if you are certain you can attend.

6. Refund Processing

6.1 Processing Timeline

  • Refund approval: Within 24-48 hours of cancellation request
  • Refund initiation: Within 5-7 business days after approval
  • Credit to your account: 5-10 business days (varies by bank)

6.2 Refund Method

Refunds are processed to the original payment method:

  • Credit/Debit Card: Refunded to the same card
  • UPI: Refunded to the same UPI ID
  • Net Banking: Refunded to the same bank account
  • Wallet: Refunded to the same wallet

6.3 Refund Notifications

You will receive email notifications at each stage:

  • Cancellation request received
  • Cancellation approved/rejected
  • Refund initiated
  • Refund completed

7. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will NOT be provided in the following cases:

  • Failure to attend the event (no-show)
  • Late arrival or partial attendance
  • Personal emergencies or travel issues
  • Weather conditions (unless event is officially cancelled)
  • Dissatisfaction with event content or experience
  • Change of mind after the refund deadline
  • Violation of event rules resulting in removal
  • Bookings made with incorrect information

8. Refund Disputes

If you have a dispute regarding a refund:

  1. Contact the event organizer directly through the platform
  2. If unresolved, contact Listeve support at support@listeve.com
  3. Provide booking details and explain the issue
  4. We will mediate between you and the organizer
  5. Final decision on refunds rests with Listeve based on our policies

Dispute resolution typically takes 7-14 business days. We will investigate fairly and provide a final decision.

9. Chargebacks

Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Chargebacks:

  • May result in account suspension
  • Can take 60-90 days to resolve
  • May incur additional bank fees
  • Should be a last resort after contacting our support

We are committed to resolving issues fairly and quickly. Most disputes can be resolved faster through our support team than through chargebacks.

10. Force Majeure

In cases of force majeure (natural disasters, pandemics, war, government orders, etc.), refunds will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Listeve will work with event organizers to determine appropriate refund or credit options for affected attendees.

11. Changes to This Policy

Listeve reserves the right to modify this Refund and Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
